Light up a Memory Mass

November is the month that we remember all our loved ones who have passed and gone to heaven. In Killinarden, we especially remember all those who have died in the last year with our ‘Light up a Memory Mass’. It is always a very poignant and beautiful mass. Altar Servers

We are hoping to set up an Altar Servers Group. The group will consist of teenagers and will be run by two Garda Vetted parish Volunteers. Altar service has been a long tradition in our faith and we are excited about re-establising it in our parish.

Remembrance Mass

Every November we hold a very special Remembrance Mass for all our loved ones that have passed away during the year. We are in the process of planning this mass, and we’ll post updates here as we have more details finalised.

Baptisms

After a break in August our baptisms are now once again happening and we have already welcomed many new babies into the Church. Baptisms are always such a beautiful sacrament. If you would like book your child in for a baptism, please ring our office on 01-4522251, where our Parish Secretary will help you with all the information you need.

As we advance in years

As we advance in years we learn to take life in stride, but that doesn’t mean that we may not feel fear. The 71st Psalm was composed by a psalmist in his old age. Toward its close, he says:
